Shipping the Lobsters

First thing in the morning, David retrieves his crates of lobsters from the coop float.

David selects the lobsters for each order to meet the requirements of the customer.

The lobsters and other seafood is packed in a special box that was designed by the airlines for such use.

In addition, blue ice is packed with the lobsters to ensure their arrival in good condition.

Here David puts the box on the Mailboat that runs from Little Cranberry Island to Northeast Harbor.  The UPS truck is waiting to take the box to the airport.

Tomorrow morning the lobsters will be at your door.

And tomorrow night...
